My favorite burroughs of Seattle has to be Ballard, Greenlake and the Fremont district! As a former competitive runner in high school I used to travel into Seattle to Greenlake and Fremont weekly and I remember seeing other high schoolers getting their senior pictures sessions taken at local parks, outdoors, etc, and always thought it was cool. Now, I’m able to do the same for my clients while having a fun time doing whatever they want, mixing and mingling a variety of outfits, backgrounds, angles, and more to complete the ultimate and best senior portrait session around!

Kirkland Senior Pictures and Photography in Full Swing for Springtime

It’s that time again! Here are some beautiful images from a recent session in Seattle for Senior Portraits. This senior had an amazing time in Kirkland but attends Redmond high school. She brought several great styling outfits for her senior pictures session in downtown Kirkland whereby we photographed her for a couple hours…time flies when you’re having fun! We considered shooting in Seattle or Bellevue but ultimately wound up choosing to do her best senior pictures session in Kirkland because of the coziness and great colors offered by Kirkland. Enjoy!

Professional Executive Headshots for Likewise.com Team in Bellevue

After receiving an inquiry to photograph the Executive Team of a successful startup – Likewise.com – I was able to schedule their professional business headshots session inside their corporate offices in Bellevue near Issaquah. We only needed about 60 minutes to complete sessions with their six executives that needed updated headshots.

The goal for this session was ‘clean’, ‘soft lighting’, ‘friendly’, which my client was very happy with my execution of these goals following their session. Their arrangement included an on-location visit for about 60 to 90-minutes, a pre-session phone consultation, their best images retouched in high res, and my personal guarantee that they will be very satisfied with my final product. Thanks again to Likewise.com in Bellevue for their professional executive headshots session!

Most important was the ‘feel’ of the session and what type of images we came out with. Their marketing manager decided that the headshots for the executive team needed to have a consistent look, casual feel, and with a slightly gray background, but not white. I setup inside their Bellevue offices in their lunch room, began moving everywhich thing around, and awayyy we went!

Following their sessions their CEO and VP of Sales & Development thanked me graciously and it turned out that one of my photography industry friends in Seattle was the spouse of one of the executives at their Bellevue offices!! Too funny!

Bruce, Class of 2012 Woodinville High School | Senior Pictures Seattle & Bellevue

Bruce is one of several Woodinville High School soccer team players I had the opportunity to work with for their senior pictures to create some cool magic! All of these guys were really cool and because of a couple GREAT moms on the team, they came to get the very best senior pictures in and around Bellevue or Seattle by Julian Michael!

Bruce brought his ‘classic’ guy gear, consisting of jeans, white tee and a couple jackets for his selection of senior pictures outfits. For one of his senior pictures outfits I had him in a very natural pose and he looked just like one of his buddy’s senior portrait sessions in Kirkland and Bellevue from the month before in 2011. Overall Bruce and his family were super happy with their selection of senior portraits to choose from and wound up with the image in the bottom-left of the collage on their wall as a wall portrait and ordered a really cool album with custom designs. Next time we’ll get their family together up in Mukilteo for a great family portrait. His sister only has a couple years until her senior pictures…time sure does fly!!

Leah, Class of 2012 Sammamish High School | Senior Pictures Seattle & Bellevue

What a great Seattle senior portrait session today as we downtown Seattle by the waterfront and Capital Hill’s rustic areas to create some fantastic senior pictures.

Leah brought several great senior pictures outfits and we had some great attire to choose from, including a fun elvis drop shoulder shirt with skinny jeans, a cute mini skirt with matching top and other cool senior gear. For one of her senior pictures outfits she wore this red, white and blue plaid shirt that reminded me of a senior portrait session in Lynnwood and Woodinville I did in 2010. Overall Leah was super happy with her selection of the best senior pictures she could possibly get by Julian Michael.

Valerie, Class of 2012 Seattle Lutheran High School, Senior Portraits

So much fun photographing Valerie for her senior portraits session! One thing Val definitely has is ‘spunk’ and always makes for a great senior pictures session when we have some great attire to choose from, including an awesome striped shirt, scarf and hat that were my favorites. We made sure to capture a variety of images so it’s easy to know the best senior pictures in her session. Val is a referral from her Dad whom I photographed several months ago for his real estate company business and uses for marketing purposes.

Katie, Class of 2012 Redmond High School | Senior Pictures

Another fun senior portrait session today as we explored Marymoor Park in Redmond and Kirkand for Katie’s Senior Portrait session. She brought several great senior pictures outfits and we had some great attire to choose from, including an awesome pink top with skinny jeans and a turquoise top with matching skirt that were fun to work with. We even headed over to the dog park at Marymoor park for one of her senior pictures outfits that reminded me of a session in Bellevue from last year.

Professional Corporate Headshots @ Tila Mortgage | Headshot Photographer

On Wednesday I received a call from Tila’s parent company Marketing Manager to see if I was available on Friday or the following Monday to get some new professional headshots for their professionals and luckily I had an open slot and we made it work! We’ve been doing business for over two years and have photographed about 35-40 of their associates at their corporate headquarters and other locations.
