Location: Marymoor Park, Redmond and Kirkland Waterfront

Another fun senior portrait session today as we explored Marymoor Park in Redmond and Kirkand for Katie’s Senior Portrait session. She brought several great senior pictures outfits and we had some great attire to choose from, including an awesome pink top with skinny jeans and a turquoise top with matching skirt that were fun to work with. We even headed over to the dog park at Marymoor park for one of her senior pictures outfits that reminded me of a session in Bellevue from last year.

On Wednesday I received a call from Tila’s parent company Marketing Manager to see if I was available on Friday or the following Monday to get some new professional headshots for their professionals and luckily I had an open slot and we made it work! We’ve been doing business for over two years and have photographed about 35-40 of their associates at their corporate headquarters and other locations.

Evan is the second of five siblings that I’ve had the opportunity to photograph for his senior pictures in Kirkland. Both he and his older brother (and their family) are very much into Soccer and it’s always fun to work with laid back high school seniors that are pretty excited for their session. We used the Juanita Beach and Towncenter area in North Kirkland for his session backgrounds – one of my favorite spots to photograph as their is such a variety all within about two to three blocks walking distance. it always helps when it’s August and about 80-degrees (as opposed to February and 38 when I also photographed someone there)!

Summer Family Portrait Specials on the Horizon

Family Portrait and Family Picture Photographer | Julian Michael

My oh my has this year flown by and we’re now into the summer family portraits timeframe! There are so many great locations in the greater Seattle, Bellevue, Woodinville, Lynnwood and Everett areas that I can pretty much just get a phone call about family pictures or childrens pictures and before I know it we’ve settled on a fun location for a great session.

Some of my favorite locations are Snoqualmie Valley, Alki Beach, Juanita Beach in Kirkland, and the beautiful countryside just behind Redmond Ridge, all producing fantastic family portrait sessions. Last summer I had the opportunity to take a drive into Snoqualmie with the family and produced some really funny pictures as you will see below.
